The text of the petition reads :

We, the undersigned, request to Aberdeen City Council Leader Kate Dean that the Liberal Democrat - SNP administration does not implement its proposals to claw back £2m of funding from the city's schools, representing £20,000 from every primary school and £100,000 from every secondary school. In addition, we request that the council fully allocate the £1.947m it was awarded by the Scottish Executive in November 2006 to be spent on the city's schools, as this funding was intended for.
